Today, Feb. 10, 2008 there was a brush fire at my parents homeplace in Amelia County, VA. Some Remington Fire Fighters were traveling home from a training in Farmville VA and offered to help with our county volunteer firefighters. I just want to thank those young people who responsed.

I want to say "thank you" to everyone who responded to Officer Benjamin's call early Sunday morning. I appreciate your efforts and thank you from deep in my heart for taking care of my husband that night. He had surgery Sunday afternoon and was given 2 steel plates and 8 pins in his hip and is doing well. Thank for your incredible service.

Just surfin' and found your sight today. Love the pictures. I'm living outside Dayton Oh. working as a paramedic/ firefighter while I'm going through nursing. I hope to move back to Fauquier with my wife and seven kids,when I finish up. Great to see you broke ground. Have a safe and happy holiday season.
